The Kingston Whig-Standard articles as well as the various photos below are from the Recruit Obstacle Race that was held on the 28th of September, 1976. The obstacle course itself, as had been the tradition, was designed and constructed by the second years who had entered RMC the prior year in 1975, and later became known as the Class of 79. The colour photos were provided by Nelson Cross who had originally joined in 1974. The black and white photos are from the 1976/77 yearbook.
